About
Boniface Omari.
I am Boniface Omari, a passionate advocate for Junior Secondary School teachers, and for all teachers in general.

I am committed to advancing the rights, recognition, and welfare of Junior Secondary School teachers, while driving policy reforms, especially in the medical scheme, that strengthen our education sector.
I am driven by a deep desire to create meaningful change and give teachers a strong, united voice. As a leader, I aspire to inspire collective action and build systems that empower educators at every level.
Achievements in the JSS Teachers’ Struggle
Omari’s Role as JSS National Spokesperson:
- 1.Together with fellow leaders, effectively organized a grassroots ‘mogul movement’ that successfully executed duties.
- 2.Engaged directly with the TSC CEO, Cabinet Secretaries, parliamentary committees, KUPPET NEB, Parents Association, and the media.
- 3.Coordinated countrywide activities that pressured government to confirm over 46,000 teachers.
- 4.Stood firm when necessary, even leading teachers to the streets in unity.
- 1.Secured government commitment to confirm all 46000 interns.
- 2.Won preferential treatment for interns in new TSC vacancies (a major shift from the past, when interns could not apply at all.
- 3.Laid the groundwork for future compensation once the court rules on the illegality of internships.
Looking Ahead:
- 1.Though not all goals (like compensation) were achieved, the movement proved the power of collective action.
- 2.Teachers are encouraged to elect leaders based on vision, policies, and track record, not tribe, religion, or age.
- 3.Together, we can restore respect and honor to the teaching profession.
